Hi Treelauch,

It's not unusual at all to feel weak at certain points when improving your diet. I recently read a web page about symptoms to expect when improving your diet that I thought described this process pretty well.

Also, I recommend visiting the VegSource Forum, where other raw food folks talk about their experiences. Many have rough spots of various kinds while learning.

I know that early on when I was trying to transition to raw foods I felt weak and dizzy at times, especially after working out. I found that it was typically due to not eating enough calories, and I was able to remedy it by eating more fruit and following the suggestions in Dr. Graham's book, The 80/10/10 Diet.

Good luck to you on this exciting path!

You're absolutely right, Jim, thanks for bringing that up! An update for anyone that's interested: there's more info and Dr. D's response concerning the news on the VegSource forum on this thread.

Cheers!

Van,
Congrats on 7 weeks raw! What an excellent post. Hopefully it will give the organizers something true and honest to think about. Well Done!
